Kwäketlélma - Linda Rose Harvey - was born in Whitehorse and is a member of the Kwanlin Dun First Nation. She is Ägunda and Dakhl’aw Shâ. One of her favorite pastimes is drumming and singing traditional and spiritual songs. Her mother is Irene Smith with whom she learns and teaches Southern Tutchone.

In 1999 Linda began co-instructing Southern Tutchone with Bertha Moose at Takhini Elementary School in Whitehorse. In 2000 she played a key role in establishing the Native Language program at Hidden Valley Elementary School. In 2002 she completed the Native Language Instructor Certificate program at Yukon College and received the Cultural Teaching Certificate. In 2004 Linda was awarded both the Diploma at Yukon College and the AAS degree at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. In September of 2004 she began work at the Centre as Urban Programs Coordinator.
